We provide access to clinical, licensed and/or board-certified, mental and behavioral health providers, life coaches, and consultants dedicated to helping individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities become the best that they can be. We believe that the ideal way to do this is by strengthening how people function within existing families or by helping people create new families if and when they need one.
In addition to providing access to psychotherapy, counseling, coaching, consulting, mediation, and homestudy services in our two office locations, we are able to use secure, on-line, tele-health technology to work with those throughout the United States who are unable to travel here. Coaching and mediation services can also be extended to some international locations.
Most of the providers in our network are credentialed by various insurance companies, including Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Medicare, United Behavioral Health or OPTUM, UPMC, AETNA,etc. We also work on a fee-for-service basis and accept most credit cards and PayPal.

Additional Deerwood Family Services include conflict resolution, employee assistance, critical incident stress management/debriefing, functional behavioral analysis, advocacy on behalf of students, and a variety of educational groups related to enrichment for children and youth, parent education, anger or anxiety management, leadership, executive functioning, and social skills . Our main office is located on the boundary of Allegheny and Westmoreland counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania, with a second office in Washington County. To protect client confidentiality, the specific locations are only provided to those who make an appointment, in advance, for services.
